About the Event
On Friday, July 15, we open with a 3-week run of "Bliss-fully bad behavior" in one of the playwright's best-loved comedies, directed by the inimitable Ken Michels. In midsummer at an English country manor, the spectacularly self-absorbed, theatrical Bliss family turn a quartet of clueless house guests into pawns in a game of one-upmanship. Written in 1924 in just three days, Hay Fever was the legendary Coward’s first big hit, making him the toast of London at age 24.
